Having loved the book, I loved this King written adaptation.
Given his direct involvement in all aspects of the show, I can accept the deviations from the novel.
A bit slow at times. Beautiful.
Boo’ya Moon was exactly as it was in my head; the combination of dark blue night and the red hazy moon, lush and temperate. Humid.
Excellent writing, acting, set production, cinematography.
There is one thing I couldn’t stand. Marionettes. The goofy wooden Clive Owen and Julianne Moore faces.
In the end, it is a beautiful piece based upon a work that seemed unadaptable; nevertheless, a shadow of the novel, Lisey’s Story.
