The first time I have returned any game in my life the next day after buying it. I felt like I went into game stop and EA robbed my hard earned money. Im madden player since 2002. Bought it annually since. But this was it. This is why I returned madden 21. I turn the game on and what do I find the same issues. Linebackers not reacting to passes by their heads. I miss a 20yard field goal with the most accurate kicker in nfl history because the kick bar still lags. Extra points are being missed all this is on my side and my opponent. People can do the same play over and over if this is a simulator why can't the defense maybe anticipate what's coming? I was able to finish commentators sentences because they reuse the same old clips from the past games. Why? These are the same issues we've had for years now. But the brief time I played it I found new ones interceptions from a defensive player directly behind the offensive player and vise versa. A catch made when it shoulda been intercepted or swatted. Easy catches are dropped but one handed catches are made. The game speed feels off defense feels too slow. Offense feels slow too but not as bad. If the ball is in the air and you want to switch to the nearest defensive player to make a play there's either a delay like a second after the ball was cought or hit the ground or your getting a player away from the play. The yard was ok not all that but I liked the idea and maybe if I got to play with friends I might have enjoyed it a little. Didn't try any other game modes. Just online head to head and the yard. Overall this madden to me is far worse than madden 20. They shoulda just updated the roster and charged us because this game feels incomplete. Not saying that madden 20 was anything great either but it was definitely better. Save your money! It's becoming a joke. I just want to play good football game doesn't have to be the greatest ever but not this. Sucks to go into the football season without a football game I can try to enjoy thanks madden.
