This was pretty much exactly what I wanted. The peace that the machines and humans reached at the end of the 3rd installment felt very vague and hard to imagine what that meant. This movie fleshed out what it looked like, and what it didn't mean. It had also been a real downer that Neo and Trinity never got their happy ever after. Only real complaint, some of the overt misogyny coming from a machine god seemed out of place and ham fisted. It could have been addressed as a flaw in humans. But done the way it was from the character "he" was, it seemed very obviously inserted from outside the character. That said, it was a fun movie with a lot of nostalgic moments.
And as someone else said, the Trinity float moment was awkward and badly filmed.
