This is an underrated show that doesn't get enough credit for what it's able to do. It's a lighter more humorous take on the TVD verse yet it's masterful in the way it injects drama that will have even the most stone-hearted people in tears. I have never seen a show that develops such complex and deep characters in such a short period of time without even having to take away from the overarching plot of the episode/season. The special effects and make-up used for the monsters and magic and all of that is simply on point. The make-up is stunning and surprisingly well done for a show just getting started. Not even Supernatural managed to do what this show has done in the first season, or even a single season. Legacies is much better in character-driven moments and development while still maintaining the humor and lightness that the show focuses on. As Supernatural struggles and winds down, I am glad that there is another tv show that can and will fill the void with equal if not greater skill.
