Poor. Cookie cutter of a once presumably decently plotted page-turner-on-the-beach novel …and oh, so super woke throughout - as if producers insist or force it in? eg hatred of public schools /money they are evil! eg explicitly insist everyone behaviours super correctly on camera eg ‘put your seat belt on’ … literally we see taken x to school to have school him off to pick up child y. Very noble indeed but do really need to see all this? It’s all quite irreverent to the story. Yet the protagonist has a loaded gun in her home with no questions of procedure raised! And of course we see every race and sexual orientation depicted (often quite randomly) too. But no trans characters - which is surely an oversight?

Solid enough plot wise. Mostly day time soap performances I'm afraid (multiple reaction shots are required at every scene). The full complement of diversity for your delectation: asian, black, white, (even Scottish); straight and gay. Rather implausibly, an American lead. Dundee clearly has something for everyone.

One big Ibiza clubbing mash. with every woke cliche theme spooned in like treacle. And definitely a contender for the bad sex awards.

Super cheesy. Cliched dialogue and chok full of wokey, woke characters and themes. What a waste.

Excellent spy story, intrigue type stuff. A terrific period drama too with splendid attention to detail. Great casting.

Pretty cheesy; complete with a South African villain (a tired old cliché in itself) and an accent that really couldn’t be any more Hollywood ridiculous.

Really well written plot wise. Some nice performances. Many wokey themes and characters are shoe horned in. Overall rather too much soap opera style cheese (script and performances) though I’m afraid. Overall a fairly big waste of the ensemble in my estimation.

Terrific cat and mouse drama with splendid both antihero and villain characters and performances. Happily less woke than is typical these days with all the implausible casting and sub plots etc.
