I think the story had a lot of potential, a purge that never ends but the purpose behind that idea seemed to be that all white peoples are angry and want to “purify America”. They had to flip the race card because of lazy writing and they’re trying to make a point that America is racist and full of hate. I genuinely think if they had better people discussing what the story would depend on it would’ve been a better movie. The fact that they were so lazy and had to pull the race card just shows me how dependent they are on a political message.
