Imperfect and ropey at first, but after a fairly cliched and by the numbers opening couple of episodes really gets it’s feet towards the back half of the series. Suspect many of the reviews here only stuck with the first couple of episodes before giving up. A real Blake 7 vibe, with a decent premise. Some of the characters could do with refinement and better acting. A bit of decent script editing would not go amiss with some really corny dialogue in places. Far better than a lot of the dross put out by American networks like The CW which seems to be aimed at a similar audience .
