this was made for the fans, it shows in both the writing and pacing. if this is your introduction to super Mario, you're gonna love the games for game play as it really does look like that when you are playing, not slowing down to explain "oh the mushroom makes you big because < reasons >". it is to the point and keeps the story going like a super mario 64 speed run, minimum stars required and no glitches.

and i thought (early seasons) Rick and Morty was fun and funny, i thought season one solar opposites was fun and funny, season 2 drastically improves upon the comedy of the main characters and continues the wall plot quite well as it is better than even i, a fan, had theorized their direction they were going in. this is the best of if Trover saves the universe Rick and Morty had a baby who avoided the pitfalls of their predecessors.

being a cartoon where adults (not all adults, just evil ones that want to make kids' lives miserable) and some teen are the villains, it surprises the audience with hard to predict plots and fairly well-written character interactions. personal favorite quote from a character that only appears in 3 episodes is "Oh, go flush yourself down a pee-pee-hole, you toilet paper covered doody head!" – Potty Mouth (in response to the Toiletnator.)

you get to play as more characters than the non dlc included price in u.s. dollars, play on more stages than there are characters and in time even more characters (dlc) will be playable than the 5 given just so far.

although you kinda want knowledge of the anime/games(human characters anime, the games for mewtwo mainly) it does put the concept from the games into the anime nicely with mewtwo's purpose in life being explored well. it also offers an amazing quote for kids similar to MLK's that goes like this: "I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.”
