Lilly Walters Schermerhorn

I only made it thru the 3rd episode. Great visuals, great acting. BUT, as for most drama, the storyline is lacking. The concept is great, it’s in the application it just didn’t make sense. They introduce a bunch of great characters, but it makes no sense why they’ve all decided to join up in a group. Really sad as this could’ve been a super show.

I only made it up to about the eighth episode and then had to give it up. I was so excited with the advertising for this series, it seem to be a revenge thriller. AND starring Dylan Wang whom I just adored when I saw him in Love Between Fairy and Devil. I was excited to see his acting skills brought to the next level in a dramatic thriller. But instead of that, it’s a light hearted romance with very little plot.. So disappointing, as the first scene was filled with excitement and intrigue and scary horror and getting rid of the concubines of the late emperor. But after that, it was really just one more of these lighthearted romances set in a bygone era. The actors did the best they could with a plot they were given.
