This book entranced and motivated me. 23 years after high school, I enrolled in college as a freshman and earned a degree in anthropology. In my senior year I asked my major professor to read it and critique her application of the science, because, after 4 re-readings of it I could not find a single error. He returned it to me a week later, and told me, that her interpretation of the artifacts and other scientific evidence of the people, climate, botany, and animal life of the time was as good as anyone else's. That's good enough for me!
