This movie would have been much more interesting if it played on the mystery it was going for in the beginning. When the dad said goodnight and locked her in her room, I was invested. Maybe if it had been more about the dad trying to keep his daughter from eating people, and used the big reveal for a climatic effect, and then eventually the dad kills her or something crazy like that I would have been more satisfied… but no. Of course not. They just had to romanticize cannibalism and make it about acceptance blah blah blah. Horrible plot. If I could give a negative rating I would.
