Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Ultimate Edition (not the theatrical version) is that rarest of entries (from either the superhero or the comic book genre) that elevates the standard by which those "other movies" will be judged in the future. This fact alone will make comparisons to lesser, feel-good expressions of modern mythologies difficult to achieve. Transformative films do precisely that: They are born out of season. And being ahead of their time, they challenge us to wrestle with their arguments, thus, maturing us as a result. Not for children or the childish. But the child-at-heart crowd will thrill to its multilayered messages. Watch it at your own risk: You may just grow up.
