Horrible. First zombies put you at danger with only a few bites on middle difficulty and low difficulty seems insulting. The obsession with the daggers seems like a Devil May Cry dev came to work, was forced to work on this game, and decided to ruin it. Broken daggers. After playing Resident Evil: 0, it's obvious how bad RE:1 Remaster is. Ports poorly to PS4 as well. Not many games get the quick wipe from my system that this did, but, surprised there wasn't a trophy/achievement for that. Avoid this game like the plague itself, but, look for a sale price on RE:0. I tried my best to like this game and couldn't. - Original Resident Evil and Code Veronica fan

What a pleasant surprise this was. Ports well over to PS4 with great graphics and sound. Gameplay and environments are on level with Code:Veronica, however, the storyline seems lacking. Some puzzles seem beyond manageable without google and the leech combiners could have been better warned about with less amounts. When you play this game and then compare to the RE:1 Remaster, it's a complete difference. Avoid the bundle pack of this and RE1; both games seem to play different and it's bad. Aim to pick up this game only if found on sale.
