The more I watch the less I like it. I wanted to like this so much. Great acting, but I don't think it's enough to carry the story for me. The debris itself is destroying the plot for me. It's more like a fantasy that they tried to spin as science fiction with no actual science in this story. The find a random chunk of metal thats has magical powers. No talk if any type of quantum mechanics which would've been the easiest way to sell the story. If the writers read this, please send my royalty checks to.... But their still has to be a power source. Just too many plot holes. Which have been many in the series and we're still in season one. I digress, I'll give it until the end of season one, but I don't think they have the time to bring the science into this science fiction..

I never like the doctor right after regeneration with the exception of Tenant. Matt is still my favorite but that's just because he made the doctor into a bad ***. The 13th doctor was one that I was excited about the concept of a female doctor but the writing on Jodi's first season was absolutely terrible. One demential characters, hitting us over the head with their PC messages, straying from arc stories and just a terrible writing. Then the second season of Whitaker's installment started as more of the same but toward the end she's come into the part of the doctor and the stories have soared. I think they took to heart the criticism of the first season and I'm excited about the third installment of this doctor.
