Terrible slanted representation. Don't waste your money. Author writes-off British bombing in WW2 as simply nothing more than carpet bombing but is ignorant (purposely?) of Bomber Command navigation and bomb aiming improvements over the course of the war (H2S, GEE), nor any acknowledgement of specific pinpoint raids such as the Dams' raid, the sinking of the German battleship Tirpitz, bombing of V1/V2 sites, or the Amiens prison break. H2S was a ground scanning radar system. It was developed for the RAF to identify targets on the ground for night and all-weather bombing and that it was also used by the USAF to improve their navigation to targets...but narry a word from the author who seems blissfully ignorant that it even existed for the last two and half years or more of the war.
