Lancelot Doyle

The series gave an interesting slant on the political and social upheavals in the run up to the beginning of 20th century France. The background of the Dreyfuss case, Franco-Prussian war and the social tensions & forces for change were all interestingly handled. Really enjoyed the unashamed intellects of all the main protagonists whether they be forces for good and progress or for bad and resistance socio-political advancement. Their plays of intrigue for power, control and influence were done really well.
