I’d give it 7/10 for a Filipino Romantic movie. The cinematography is great and the story line is realistic. It’s my first time to see Alden on screen and I think he’s a perfect cast for Ethan. He looks good being paired with Kathryn too. His acting is perfect, completely natural and with depth. As for Kathryn, I’m glad her diction was perfect for the character and not used her typical speaking voice. She must’ve been tired from all the shoot which worked for her character “ Joy” who’s so busy juggling her time to earn money. However, she can still improve on displaying intensity of her emotion. Ex. She saw her mom beaten up again for the nth time in the hospital and confronted the current husband who’s the culprit. She should break down with a mix of anger, resentment and helplessness. It should have been a powerful scene, as the mom also revealed something really shocking to her. Instead she threw her bag to the guy one time and simply said her lines. To Kathryn, it’s okay to be ugly cry lol. I appreciate her effort though. I enjoyed the film, the supporting cast was perfect! Their acting were crisp, natural, perfect. It could have been better if they made it a bit darker. But anyway, it’s highly entertaining. Thanks for creating this movie!
