Great 'easy viewing' entertainment, thoroughly enjoyed it. Only drawback (for me) was the dreadful English 'clipped' accent Joan's daughter had, but she was barely in it so good storylines and acting from the rest made up for it.

Enjoyable of a fashion, basic story great, though unnecessarily long, for me would have bern better condenaed into a 2 hour film. Wouldn't tell anyone not to watch it as it is watchable

For a 1990s film it's very 1970s. Hasn't 'travelled' well at all. Sorry.

One of the best shows I've watched in a while. Such a sad story, I literally felt my heart ache for all the victims. Good job they had some dedicated, good and decent police on their side.

About 3 hours too long, did a lot of fast forwarding, just wanted to know the exact ending. Could gave done the whole story in 1 episode really.

Towards the end of ep 1 and well into ep 2 I thought oh husband has a fling with nanny scenario and became bored (though recorded full series). However next day I just picked up on last quarter of ep 2 and glad I did. Have to say Charlie Brooks took her part beautifully she was just perfect, what a great schemer. One not so good point, 'wardrobe' need sacking some dreadful outfits but that's purely my opinion. All in all glad I watched it. Learnt some good ideas lol

Very easy watching, have loved watching since it started, am up to ep 7 in series 4. Cindy Sampson looks different somehow, may be the shorter hairstyle which really suits her. However think she needs to sack wardrobe as they given her some rotten clothes this series. Thoroughly enjoyable programme.

Just watch ep 1 of series 1 and thoroughly enjoyed, just going to put pork in oven and settle down to ep.2
