This movie was absolute garbage. I mean what was the game plan. Like a above the rim knock off with an Asian guy. He literally shows no emotions even when he is supposedly going through his toughest time. The plot was basic but still somehow confusing. Like, I'm still confused about the Melvin character. Was he having an affair with the mom or not. I only watched for poo smoke but he had about 10 lines and they were all trash talking. It's a basketball movie with only like 2 basketball scenes and even those were super bad. And I can't really put my hands on it but something about the white asst coach and boogie himself felt a bit like culture appropriation and that pop smoke was only in this to gain fan support. Wish I could give this half a star but I guess the 1 will have to do.
