Horrible. Should be called "Robotnik" not Sonic. He was in most of the scenes. Jim was great in the first movie because we got sprinkles of him. This was waaaaaay too much. Everyone else was a side character and everyone else seemed to have warped their characters the worst being Tom and Maddie who were completely useless and cringe. I know nothing about the Sonic universe, why haven't we learned about Sonic's and Knuckle's planet? Why was the emerald stored on Earth of all places? Why in Heaven was the emerald not hidden more carefully by Knuckles? Seems like his honor bound duty is a big joke. Very disappointed. Shadow and Maria storyline would have been nice if it were fleshed out more. Instead we got an Oceans Eleven, steal from the vault, angle that took up a chunk of the middle. Also should have been a PG13 rating. Death, destruction, and suffering that is mental and needs explanation for younger kids.

Beautiful animation but... Where are the characters from the first three movies? Bonnie - played with every toy she had, happy, wildly creative to sulky, not playing with every toy, not friendly... This girl grew up in daycare, why wouldn't she sit with other kids? She acted like a child that had been sheltered all her life. Then not playing with Woody after being so excited in the third movie. Continuity is so weird in this movie. Bo - shy, quiet, coy, and sweet to pushy, aggressive, and loud, even before the long years alone. I'm sorry but old Bo would have stayed in the store. Maybe even teamed up with Gabby. Woody - loyal to the last, brave, go getter, and seeks justice to mopey and unloyal. After that speech in the begining of 3, the ending of this movie makes zero sense. He of all toys should know that 4 year olds go through phases of likes and dislikes. Buzz - brave, confident, and natural born leader to timid and unsure of himself... What?! This movie was an insult to Buzz. Not knowing what to do, needing his toy voice to make a decision. It completely ruined this movie for me. I appreciate them trying to not have the reoccurring forget youre a you thing but... This was a bad choice. I honestly think the creators have forgotten who Buzz is. Between this crushing of his character and the abomination stand alone movie... The evidence speaks for itself. I liked the antique store idea but I think the combo of the carnival was too much. I think the store alone could have been the movie. Wish the cat had been the main antagonist as those parts were interesting and funny. I really liked Gabby but she seemed to be an afterthought. Why didn't they have the famous Pixar backflash with her instead of just being told her story? We got Duke's, who was my favorite new toy. Why didn't we get more time with Bonnie's toys and the old gang who just sat in the rv all movie? This movie should have been called "Bo and Woody: a new toy story" This movie is pretty good and possibly better if you do not remember the previous three .

I thought Chris was a bad pick for Optimus/Orion. The voice is weird, it worked for Optimus but I thought Orion should have been more lighthearted. The story was pretty decent, I thought D's shift was weird though and sudden. Bucemi did a great job with Starscream but D's easy defeat of him was farfetched. Starscream was apart of an elite fighting force yet is easily defeated by a miner who has never fought before. Huh? Elita was annoying. I enjoyed Scarlet's playing her but the personality was awful and she was useless. Why can't we just have a normal female character? In the episode she was in in G1 (1984), she never once bragged about herself. She actually put herself in danger to protect others. I didn't see that once in this movie. And why didn't they keep the story of her as Ariel before changing her to Elita One when her form changed? Laurence did an amazing job as Trion. I thought he was great. I liked Sentinel a lot as well but I wish his betrayal was... Better. It just seems so hollow. You were tired of speeches? And the kneeling to the Quints is a bit much. He doesn't seem like the type to kneel to anyone. I think it would have been better if he was more slimy, taking over after the Quints destroy everything. But that probably would have required a more nuanced story. Why no mention of Arachnid's relationship? That would have been nice Bumblebee is such a weird character in this. Why didn't they use someone else? Bumblebee is a cool, collected, and brave warrior in G1. He seems to have ADD in this movie. Funny but so out of character. I wanted to watch this movie with my child but there are things in here that are not family friendly. As someone else said, should be PG13, not PG. Megatron rips a bot a part, blows a hole through someone in detail, talk about killing, slavery, slicing heads off, etc. middle finger suggestion, "badassatron." Nitpick: Optics not eyes. Deer robots don't transform.

I am genuinely surprised at how bad this movie is. I gave it two stars because I think the art is so pretty and I loved the book at the beginning and end. The characters are awful. The only one that stands out to me is Magnifico and he gets the shaft in the end. I think it would have been such a better story had Asha found his secret wish or something to get him to see the error of his approach. The story never really explains why he won't give the wishes back if he doesn't want to grant them. It's frustrating because he seems like a practical guy that wants his citizens to be happy. He had such hope and it's such a shame how he ended up. I think it was a huge missed opportunity not to show his past like the grandmother's in Encanto. The main character had no depth at all and was annoying and her friends were even worse. The story was very weird. Did they not take story telling 101 at community college? I understand wanting the emphasize the wish upon a star theme but have a better set up for it! Did the wishes have power? Why did they hurt people when they were destroyed? What was Mama's wish (built up over and over but never revealed? Maybe I missed it?) Why does Asha get the wand? Why do they need a sorceress if everyone's a star? And are we talking about wishes or dreams? Those seem to be interchangable in this movie when I don't think they are. For example, I wish I was thin against I have a dream to one day be a professional photographer. Crushed dreams hurt more than crushed wishes. It's just weird. The star reminds of the star buddy from Care Bears. I don't think it was as cute though and a little creepy. The songs were losers and I can't remember any of them. The movie felt like 3 hours and it was only an hour and a half. How far Pixar has fallen from its glory days of Finding Nemo and Wall-E.

This is not a kid's movie. It's way too long and it's boring (from a kid's point of view). I expected to hate this movie but I thought it was pretty good. I had to separate myself from the toy story buzz bc these two are not the same. The politically correct stuff was gross, didn't belong in this supposed kid's movie, and didn't add anything to the storyline. Heaven forbid we have a normal family. A black female senior (of course) to Buzz has to be homosexual. Looks like all potential boxes have been ticked. When did Pixar stop being fun? Oh right when they sold their souls to the devil. They made the Incredibles, they should have known how to make a fun action filled movie for kids that would have inspired Andy. This movie would not have. Where's evil Zurg? Where's the aliens? Where's the action? Where's the galactic alliance? Where's confident, take charge, kick butt Buzz that doesn't need to be rescued constantly? Etc. This movie was better than blue beetle or wonder woman 84. It is just for adults though. I liked Chris, I thought he did a good job for a young Buzz. I liked that he matched Tim's mannerism. I liked the cat though it was a strange addition. I also liked the twist with Zurg. This movie should come with a disclaimer that says "we are throwing canon out the window." I have no attachment to the misfits, the criminal old woman was weird and the quitter was annoying. Why the weird obnoxious characters? No one knows how to tell a good story with good characters anymore.

This movie was painful to watch. The family was awful. I'm surprised Jaime came back to them in the beginning. They were obnoxious and horrendous, especially Rudy (why was he there anyway?) The grandmother was interesting until the end when she lost her mind. Does Hollyweird know how to make movies anymore? Family going to "save" a superhero? Ridiculous. What was wrong with Susan? Why was she acting like she was in a junior high play? Her acting was so over the top bad, I wouldn't have believed it. The most frustrating thing was the potential. Glimpses of banter between Khaji and Jaime. Maybe the struggle between wills would have been nice. But maybe that would have been too hard for the brainless to understand. The movie was about the blue beetle but that character was hardly on the screen. As usual The movie was way too long. The setting - why wasnt there more exploration of the culture and neighbors? We get this unappetizing cartoon sketch of a Mexican family. Is that what these families are like? All the time? Maybe the writers should have watched Encanto for tips. Jenny was forgetful and couldn't act either. Why was she helping Jaime again? I still don't understand how she was related to Susan's character. Furthermore, what was the reason Susan's character wanted to build a scarab powered army? Was there a reason or did we just need a cackling witch of a character? Why did her guard suddenly turn on her? Cheesy cheesy cheesy. He's got a pic of his family that he carries but don't expect an explanation. Jaime was forgetful and came across as an idiot which is a shame. I'm really surprised at the high ranking of this film. I must have watched the wrong movie.

I read so many good things about this movie. Maybe I didn't see the same movie? This movie sucked. It was so boring and it was a struggle to finish. I am glad I didn't see it in the theater. It was so BORING. Tom Hanks' character was really irritating. The weird montages to show time progression were jarring. The modern music was like ice water being thrown in my face. What was the point? I don't understand why people think the actor that played Elvis was a look alike. Have they SEEN how shockingly handsome the real Elvis was? Very disappointed.

I can't believe this movie is not more popular, it is fantastic. But I guess in the dumbed down society that we now live, it's to be expected. The Most Reluctant Convert is thought provoking and is a treat for the mind. The presentation was so unique with an older Lewis narrating his life as he literally walked through it. The actor who did it was so engaging too! I wonder if that had to do with the fact that he is a theater actor. It was pleasant to see how atheists and Christians could debate their beliefs with intellect instead of emotional meltdowns. The beautiful scenery of Oxford was unexpected. The story is wonderful as well! It's so refreshing that it's only an hour, makes you think, has no profanity, violence, or sex, and it's over in a blink! I could go on and on. GO WATCH IT NOW!

This movie was so boring. I didn't feel any character development at all. The terrible violence and gore was for its own sake. It took me days to finish as I had no interest in doing so. I fast forwarded the end. Hollywood has no idea how to create a good story with rich characters anymore.

Pretty bad which was disappointing because it had potential. "Gas and water has dried up" according to the back of the DVD. Yet one of the first scenes is motorcycles racing along the desert... never explained. There was a pound at the end as well. How is everyone alive with no water? I think Lucy was in this as a favor to someone. I watched 99% of this on fast forward. Why does the robot suddenly want to make out with a lesbian? No clue. Why is the main character an absolute moron? No clue. Even if you're sheltered, there are still survival instincts. What was the point of drugging the main character with so much stuff that a horse would have died? No clue.
