The glowing reviews are over-hyped. Yes the movie is beautifully shot in black and white, but the acting is far from convincing. And I t moves at a pedestrian pace. If your taste in movies is watching the tedium of domestic duties, gratuitous full frontal male nudity and the cleaning up of dog excrement I can understand the hype. One for the movie connoisseurs I guess, but it seems more like movie snobbery to me.
