I did not like this movie for one thing. Culture confusion. First off, Aladdin and the Magic Lamp is a folk-tale story that is from the tales of THE ARABIAN NIGHTS. NOT INDIAN. Young viewers who watch this movie with get the wrong understanding of how the Arabic actually is. In the Beginning of the movie, it is shown that they know what they are doing such as playing Arabic music and other things that would show signs that is an Arabian story. But as the movie continues, you will notice that they start to change the story. Most of the choreography in the movie is Indian based, which is wrong. In the end of the movie, they have an Indian marriage which is unacceptable. They start to play the rest of the movie with Indian music or show Indian traditions. They mixed up cultures, which makes me disappointed about the movie. It is as if they don't know what they were doing when making the movie. They should have looked for information about different types of culture before doing anything. It makes me upset to know that people even today don't try to understand each others differences and want to believe whatever they want, and influencing future generations like this. They should have not made it at all if they didn't know anything about Arabian culture. It's like they were carelessly insulting the culture.
