Rarely there is a movie which reverberates with u days, months after u've seen it. Gully boy is such an experience. You want it to continue, take it home with you, keep it with you for life, take moments of inspiration every now and then. The plot is strong, writing is good (though it sort of gets slow in some parts), casting is brilliant, acting of every character is as if it was tailor made for them. The chemistry of Ranveer-Alia, Ranveer-Siddhant, Ranveer and his group is perfect. Kalki plays her part to perfection, Vijay Raaz as the defiant and self righteous father is impeccable. The soundtrack, though adopted from multiple sources, is a smash hit. Overall, you couldn't have asked for the movie to be made any better. A perfect ode to the gully boy's of Mumbai!

The plot is wafer thin but what makes the film click are the performances of everyone. From the lead actors to the supporting one's to cameo appearances, every casting iin picture perfect. Special mention to the ever reliable Irrfan and the debutant Dulquer Salman. They certain ooze charm amd the chemistry between them is infectious.
