I don't think 'enjoy' is a word I could use in relation to this film. I didn't so much enjoy it, but I found it gripping and could take my eyes off it. It's a deep, dark film with some quite disturbing scenes. You can empathise with Arthur, as he sinks deeper into mental illness. Joaquin Phoenix plays the part brilliantly. It's an exceptional all film.
