My first impression is that this series was written by a feminist. The women are portrayed as vocal and dominate over the men, but for that culture and time period that was definitely not how it was. The dominance of women in this series is distracting and in my opinion takes a little away from the over all awesomeness of the series. If women had been portrayed more accurately, I would give 5 stars. On the other hand, I love how Jesus is portrayed as fully human doing human things like cleaning his teeth and stretching and lighting a fire and dancing with family... that part of this series deserves 10 stars. I love how often Jesus is shown talking to his Father. I love how Jesus is shown interacting with children and how he has a soft, caring, loving look ALL the time. I definitely recommend this series!
