I enjoyed it until the dream sequences and Dirk, (short for Jerk) was a bit of a mystery …. What is his purpose? Rachel’s day-glo yellow hair was distracting ….the color was so off for her coloring. I think a platinum would have been much better. The plot was always a bit obscure with many pensive, staring moments from the “dark haired” actress who was amazing in Prometheus. I expected so much more from DePalma! Do they not screen movies nowadays before they release them? Noomi has a few too many deer in headlight close ups … although she is adorable to look at. The setting, decor and so forth were interesting …. Got tired of the brown pony tail …. Plot …. Weak and confusing, the ending, a rip off. I kept watching because I was sure something was surely going to happen soon. On a 1 to 5, I give it a 2.

Starts a bit slow ... at first I thought the female lead had an intellectual disability ... but the more I watched the more interesting it became. It definitely captures the 70’s underbelly very well. It’s unusual and worth watching.

I loved Penny Dreadful. City of Angels is a huge disappointment for me. Sloooooow character development .... a little too much of Natalie even tho I really like her work ... I like the web it weaves with history .... but I am waiting to see more of the supernatural ..., don’t know yet if I like it or not.

Worthless. Not scary, not funny just a complete waste of time. So predictable and unbelievable .... terrible acting ... just awful in every way. The house and photography, winter settings were interesting ..., this was supposed to be a comedy I assume? Pathetic like most of Shymalans work. How in the world does he get movie deals? Ugh!! It’s just bad.

Cheesy, poorly written .... a character starts munching on fruits and plants on an earth look alike planet? It’s mindlessly entertaining and takes my mind off work for awhile, so, I’m happy with it. I will see it thru till the end.
