What a straight up strange album to come out at this peak in her life. She's the happiest she's been, Eras tour wrecked us...Now I'm expected to be miserable with her and lament on previous exes YET AGAIN? Where is the evolution in her song writing? Folkmore was a HUGE boon for her song writing and artistry and it's almost like she went backwards here. I love 95% of this womans discography but this record hit the hand brake for me. The problem is now she is critic proof. No one will tell her the truth. Artists this size get lost in there own echo chamber because there are no truthful reviews out there. I'd like to get off here thanks. Stop hanging out with Lana Del Ray lol and get new producers. I think Jack and Aaron have hit a creative wall with her.

Project Power

For a direct to Netflix film it was a great watch. Probably the best release for them yet. Charlize is in fine form and the action sequences are Hollywood top notch. My only concerns for the film lie in the plot which really doesn't give you anything to sink your teeth into. A subplot regarding a lost team member, sunk into the ocean centuries ago, was an exciting thought all but abandoned for a coda. The overall antagonist was also poorly casted and overall very very caricature like. Netflix films tend to leave you wanting more just based on budget limitations alone. Things can never be explored enough, characters world's fleshed out. This costs money. Overall, this is probably as close a Netflix movie can get to decent world building, and the amount of time spent with the characters here are far superior than anything Netflix has put out as of late. Here is hoping a sequel is in the works.
