If you’re here for an honest review about this game, you’ve come to the right place. I personally bought this game because I’m a football fan but you know the game is going to be garbage when EA are in charge of making it. Let’s start with the player ratings. Makes no sense at all. Almost like the guy who was in charge of deciding the ratings was high on mushrooms. Next thing is the good old scripting. Ever heard of a game that decides the result of a game before it’s even played? Most people would call that match fixing in modern sports but how can that happen in a video game? Well… where ea is involved, anything is possible. If you’re the better player, the game mechanics will sport the opponent just so the opponent doesn’t quit playing the game. Works both in your favor and against you but who wants to play a game where even if you win, you know for a fact you win because of scripting? We all know ea is a poorly run company and this game is another scheme for them to make money. I mean you got my $60 for the game so why can’t I just play the game without you deciding the result of the game for me? They want you to buy more packs so you can improve you team but the team doesn’t even matter, the game is scripted and you’ll win only if your scripted to win. Examples of scripting:- player with 90+ pace starts running at 60 pace if you’re wining then game and dominating. You have to tackle the ball 50 times and even after that, the rebound goes to the opponent. You take 15 shots and score 1 while the opponent has 2 shots and scores both and you end up losing. Those numbers and conversions would never make sense in a real game of football. There are so many things wrong with this game that I could write a book but the one thing that makes me recommend you to not buy this game is that this game is very stressful to play. You’re better off without it. Trust me. What’s the point in raging at a games which scripts the results for you? Maybe spend that money you would on buying this game on a nice show piece for your living room cuz even they would be a better purchase than this. Maybe one day I’ll play a football game again that isn’t made by Ea or konami
