Crazy to think that at first I almost didn’t watch because I found the characters slightly cartoonish in those first couple episodes. Cho with his straight face, VanPelt’s sweet princess persona, Rigsby’s flip-flopping between FBI agent and puppy dog. But something urged me to keep watching. Then I found myself slowly drawn in to the lives these people led and loving how every episode fulfilled my need for drama, sensitivity and a full hearted chuckle all in one 40 minute jaunt. The acting chops of Simon Baker ended up flooring me by the end of the series and by the series finale, he had grabbed my heart and more invested in his character’s outcome I couldn’t have been!
