this movie is touched by god. the animation? spectacular. this movie was truly ahead of it's time, and one of my favorite woman's lib films. the female lead, nicole, is independent and not a character of a woman. she is not motivated by love, nay, but by friendship. it is also a good critique of capitalism, and how we have entangled monetary value with tradition, and no longer have time for others. this movie has moved me, personally. when i was a little girl, i never had anyone to look up to. but one fateful, 2002 december morning, that changed. my world view shifted. i recommend this movie as a hidden treasure of films - and good for the whole family.
