You've heard of so-bad-its-good, well get ready for so-bad-its-terrible. This movie is one of the worst I have seen in such a long time. Between the directors lack of cinematography, horrible plot and weak acting, this movie is an hour of boredom. By far, one of the worst parts is the sound design and ADR. i didnt even know this movie was in English for a minute because of the first scene, I thought it was a dub! The music is straight out of a stock, youtube tutorial DIY video. It is super loud, and sounds awful. They also add these goofy "DUNT!" sound effects : / like they put in Instagram "comedy" videos. So childish, and completely ruins the vibe this movie was attempting to go for. The editing is AWFUL. from visual to audio, to pacing and establishing scenes. All so bad. Sometimes, movies are bad but you can tell the director/actors/crew put passion into whatever their making. I did not get that feeling at all for The Resort. It felt like some random film student got a slightly "good" budget, and hired his buddies to make this. I really do not recommend this at all. Seriously. Save yourself the time, and go watch Breaking Bad or something.
