I would say this album is underrated and often overlooked by casual rock fans. Being released in 1976 we're starting to get into the latter half of Zeppelin's career which would probably explain why. The normies and weekend warriors only have time for "stairway" or "immigrant song" and other hits from the first few albums let's face it. A similar fate awaited Blue Oyster Cult, they released some killer material in the 80's but many stopped listening after the 70's.
Any waaay. What an epic album. The epic "Achilles last stand" opens this damn thing like a fire cracker 🔥. There are some lesser known and more obscure gems like "royal Orleans" and "candy store rock". The epic album closer "tea for one" starts out jolly, but turns into a moody blues juggernaut.
Great album. For those who appreciate the art this band created and not just their influence on heavy metal.
