I have been listening to Pat Metheny now since the late 70s. This is his masterpiece. It's that simple. Get it, now, play it, then play it again. A musical panorama, stunning in its depth and scope, but even better it is musically satisfying, haunting and deliciously inventive, and brings a cast of musicians each of whom you will want to know. Bravo!

Pat Metheny is the musician for everyman, from sophisticated listeners to beginners. He holds a big chunk of my heart so I can't be objective. Just listen to "Are you going with me?" and drift away...
