This is a very quirky movie. I liked the deadpan dialog between Adam Driver and Bill Murray. This was produced during the Trump presidency. The Steve Buscemi farmer character sports a red "Make America White Again" ball cap. The deputy (Driver) drives a Smart car and has a Star Wars token on his key chain. Watching for the quirky details was enjoyable. As to the plot, well that's why I knocked off a couple of stars.

This is an intense fast moving movie. There is some rough/foul language. The sex scenes are more suggestive, than graphic. There is no actual nudity. There is no smoking in the entire movie. I have now watched Thank You for Smoking numerous times. Enjoy.

It is a good movie. However, the premise of the comet is a bit weak. It should have been an asteroid (higher density, mass and valuable minerals). The comet depicted would not wipe out humans and would not contain the valuable minerals depicted in the film.
