So terribly disappointed! The book felt choppy, no gripping plot lines or character development. Next to nothing about William after all the hype of his discovery in the last book. I have loved every book of this series and am bitterly disappointed that it is just a bridge to another book. The abrupt, forced cliffhanger ending is so contrived - I feel ripped off, your loyal readers deserve a more nuanced and complex ending instead of this gaudy knee jerk ending. Finish it properly Ms Gabaldon, don’t string us along for more book profits and give us the conclusion we deserve. Please!!
