Ok Just saw this and totally a mixed review. The lead was great he sounded great and thought he killed it, Neil's second wife was outstanding as well. His agent was great as well as the others. But something is off, the 9 cast members are awkwardly moving around and costumes are horrific and off putting. Ok I get they are period costumes but no reason to look sloppy and unorganized. The real issue for me was the creepy way the play started. Neil is in a session with his Dr, but no reason for them to be on stage the entire show it was creepy and off putting Set design is mediocre at best .Its a shame with such great talent up there that the play itself is a mess. The lead Swanson should not sing another note til they fix the flaws lol Worth seeing for sure but no reason for 9 people to be standing around when main actors are driving home critical points of the show. Lastly all reviews have said no one really is singing along to Sweet Caroline the number 1 sing along song in the world lol. There should be more build up or maybe even a " out of character " is this why you all came ? I can assure you if every one sang they would have had a great time and for sure the theater would not have been half empty
