Harmless little comedy. Excellent performances from Olivia (as always) and Jessie. While it's entertaining enough it's by no means innovative or un predictable. Would much prefer to see a more serious close to the truth story

Excellent movie. Giamatti at his masterful best.

Very disappointed. Of course Christmas is an awful time for lots of people. This attempt to portray the sadness and despair it creates for so many falls way short in this obviously staged production. Yes, true lives but not telling the absolute true stories. Disappointed with the "documentary " because it wasn't one.

Watchable but fairly weak. Hard to take Steve Martin seriously in that role. Decent story but could have been portrayed and developed a lot better.

One of the worst films I have ever been to. Can't believe that I stayed until the end. I appreciate the excellent animation and the cute voice but goodness me how did this so popular. Silly concept, ridiculous storyline, boring content, poor cinematography 1 out of 5 for the music. Stay away

Very disappointed with this film. Was expecting a story about 1969 Belfast. Got a badly written and directed ,unimaginative self indulgent piece of drivel. I never connected with any of the characters. The best thing about it was the predominantly Van Morrison sound track and I'm not a big Van fan. There is a story there but this film doesn't tell it.

2 hours of absolute rubbish. This film had nothing: No imagination, no story, no reality, no flow, no character development, no decent music. Don't waste your money.

Disappointing. Predictable and weak, the film could have been so much better with a structured character development and story. I love the ruggedness and remoteness of Kerry and its people. The feeling of what they might or might not be missing, the local passion for sport, the Irish language, the connections with the sea ,understated relationship between a single father and his daughter. This ,on paper ,was a fim/story made in heaven for me but it failed to deliver.
