As much as I love Dianne Weist, she's no Ruth Gordon and Ruth truly embodied Minnie. The actor playing Roman doesn't do it for me, either. I wanted to like this, but I guess I my focus is too narrow on the original Rosemary's baby

Absolutely laughable. Not at all scary.

Poor acting and a heavy handed script make this movie almost laughable. Which is a shame because the true story deserves to be told in a brilliant drama.
