Its....it's so bad.
All the camera work is just...wrong? It's off. Something about it is off. It's so hard to watch especially the action scenes.
And why did the raptor chick just...walk...right back into the raptor cages completely unaware of literally all the noise and signs of activity that were happening, in order to be arrested by Mr. French agent?
Okay see...I'm so not impressed by this I can't remember a single characters name.
Pretty sure this is almost eeentirely down to the director....deeming all of this acceptable. None of it is. None of it feels like it was really thought out and correctly envisioned.
Almost every bit of it is so simplistic.
Like when in the lab escaping with the DNA sample and the raptor...like the entire place has cameras and super advanced underground pods and tech, yet it takes them several minutes to grasp what's happening, just in time to set them up for a nice exit, never realizing the other dude is helping them as well as Malcolm? Like....come on. Instead of making them actually think critically to get out.
Every past iteration has had more smooth, realistic cgi than this.
A lot of the raptor scenes are just, whew, terrible. They're super unrealistically fast, except when a chase scene is on of course.
Speaking of, I don't get the whole scene on the bike where he's not fast enough to catch the plane....until the plane is taking off. At which point, the plane would be going the fastest . So all the sudden, the bike is fast enough? It doesn't make sense.
The acting and dialogue is all so juvenile, it's so basic and just...idk. it's one of the worst movies I've ever seen with a multimillion budget.
The worst part? I feel like I've seen it before....
