How innocence gets tormented when justice is denied is very well illustrated in American miniseries WHEN THEY SEE US aierd on 31'st May on Netflix, based on true event of rape case in Central Park on 19'th April 1989. The brutality subjected to five innocent youths to accept a crime they never committed uncovers the other face of society. These youths were actually the victims of racism. Every emotion of pain, agony,fear,grief, sorrow and strength the families of these youths go through the passing days of the trial are outlined marvelously. How the future and dreams of these youths were shattered bit by bit while justice go blind to them and they are convicted of a crime they didn't committed is well depicted. The cast did full justice to the series undoubtedly. Every aspect is well catched and displayed by the director. For me it is a must watch show and it is worth watching.
