This is one of those handful of books that changed my life. In my undergrad Existentialism class after Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Heidegger, and Sartre, Camus's retelling of the myth, the idea of the Absurd (Hu)Man, spoke to me deeply. So much so that, in the 45 years since that class, I have used the book's last line as the last line of my signature block: One must imagine Sisyphus happy.
