God re-routing our lives always happens at the wrong time and it always appears as if something has gone terribly wrong. This film clearly demonstrates how God can use inconveniences to get us to whats best for our lives.
I loved the story. I definitely identified with the protagonist, a woman focused on what she thought was best for her. Lou Beatty's character became the man you could love to dislike for his self-confidence and his authority. His portrayal of Doc Shelby, the loving yet powerful leader of Normal was played with enough depth to give us a human version of our loving Heavenly Father.
This well written story reaches deep if you allow it to. When I first saw it, I happened to be in a place of needing someone like Doc Shelby's firm and loving guidance. Probably why he resonated with me so. I definitely recommend seeing this film. If you see it once, you will want to see it again. 5-Stars :-)
