A 3D animated remake of the classic 1966 cartoon film, How The Grinch Stole Christmas. While the movie can be praised for its visual effects and "warm hugs" family theme, it is underwhelming in comparison with the live action adaption in 2000 starring Jim Carrey. The film is also too "sickly sweet", wherein everyone, except the Grinch, is happy, joyful, and too forgiving despite being robbed of their gifts and possessions, and even the grinch is one hug away from having his heart grow 3 sizes before he enacts his dastardly plan. The Grinch is short, plain, and predictable enough to sleep through, but you should still take your kids to watch for themselves.
