I've loved the other Strike and Ellacott mysteries. But I'm on p. 687 of 1,000 and I'd just love for the Ink Black Heart to be over. There's SO MUCH padding in this book! I feel as though ole JK tried to make this book impossibly long so she could earn more from each copy sold. Also, online conversations presented in 3 columns of one page, with chats between many characters stopping and starting across the columns, make me feel seasick when I try to follow all the different threads. I skipped forward and read the last 20 pages. I'm disappointed. I liked previous of her mysteries.
