Rusell Drumm

This was a truly great series that somehow slipped under the radar. It deals with complex issues like faith, religion, life and death, failure and redemption. It does it all in a tastefully creative way and doesn't wave current political dogma in your face like some TV shows do today.

Excellent. Top tier animation. Surprised a network/streaming platform hasn't gone and try and pick it up yet. The characters are well done with certain themes and elements brought up but not overtly drawn out. Even the musical bits are enjoyable and I am definitely not a musical kind of guy. It is a well rounded show and has me looking forward to any upcoming episodes.

Excellent movie, with great number set of actors and actresses. Incredible character arcs and emotional ending which isn't easy for a zombie movie either.

Entertaining movie. Wish the fight scenes were a bit faster.

With Warner Bros trying to maintain a even decent DCU and Disney saturating us with MCU, it is nice to see this monster still kicking and after watching its recent installment, it is doing very well. The action is fast paced and doesn't bog down the movie. Some parts of the movie feel ridiculous, but that is just me being all "scientific" about it. Personally I really enjoyed the movie and if I could would have given it 4.5 stars. The only thing that hurt it from getting a 5 was Millie Bobby Browns character Maddie. She was so out of place and could have easily had her parts removed without even hurting the story line. Nothing against the actress herself just the type of character she played. Having seen another recent movie with her in it I fear it is likely her and not her character. Also her father was pretty pointless too. Both of them honestly shouldn't have been in it.

Let's talk about the Goods The visual effects and atmosphere definitely gets the setting right. Straight giving off Abyss vibes. The scares weren't overly predictable and they managed to keep the creatures in the shadows enough to where you couldn't get a decent idea of what they looked like. Over all I didn't feel like I wasted time watching this movie. The Bads Why on Earth are we drilling for oil down there. Oil might be big business, likely not even worth the cost of running a rig that advance and massive that deep below the waves. Either A they found the galaxy's largest oil supply or B oil is so rare a resource that it cost millions per barrel. Also the power sources for both the rig (Roebuck) and the command and control post look like some form of fusion reactor. If that's the case then why do we need the oil. The characters back stories could have had more digging into as well. Maybe not ever character but at least the main four (Nora, the young couple, and the rig captain).

Movie in short pushes current 'female empowerment' agenda making someone overtly powerful for absolutely no reason what so ever (hint she was a terrible human to begin with). Then she beats down upon the 'men' of society. She gets everything she ever wanted. The movie saved face by killing her at the end (thank god).

Impressive visuals and fairly decent story plot. But very clunky combat mechanics, NPC AI can be a bit wonky too. At times missions can become impossible to complete because of how your character requires you face a certain direction towards whatever they are interacting with. Ex: when you need to speak with someone but they are facing a table and will not turn to let you speak with them.

Being a well known series and having a well known developer create a new addition, you'd think they would have worked out all the Kinks. But alas they have not. From buggy AI pathfinding to the forever closing screen, this game should have honestly been held back a little longer to at least work these things out. The game also sets an unrealistic expectation that literally everyone (even well paid guards of Albion and Clan Kelly) would be willing to be turn coat just because DeadSec helped them with their grocery shopping. There is a lack luster of side missions as well, not sure if it is a planned feature than are adding, but regardless there has to be more than recruiting the entire city and beating any Londoner oh dare raise a fist to you. Like there is only 3 types side missions really. Is it a recommended game...eh. Was it worth the pricing of $60 nope, honestly at it's current state $40-50 might be a better price range.

Honestly, they copied Wildlands and removed features like.....having a squad for one. Two having to be online all the time is annoying. I mean it only becomes valid when in one certain area. So of course when Ubisoft goes down your $60 is worth a big pile of S***. Come on it's been 15 yrs of what everyone is doing wrong time to stop repeating it.
