I spent considerable amount of time on this book. Reading and re-reading topics. My mind was truly blown. You hear words like quantum mechanics, string theory, black holes etc in popular culture quite often and wonder what they really are. This book explains these (and many more) topics quite well & I would recommend this book to people who are even faintly interested in our universe, how it all began and how truly insignificant our place in the universe is. It's very scientific, yet it's philosophical in its own way (at least i felt that). Kudos to Mr. Hawking for such a brilliant book. I don't think I'm smart enough to understand it completely, so I'll have another go. Though it would have been much better if we could reverse the arrow of time or create a wormhole in future to know if I'll understand it completely afterall.
