The scenes were too dark, literally too dark. It was hard to see the characters. It was also difficult to understand the dialogue. I would suggest anyone going to see it would first study the history and know the main historical characters. The story needs much more time to tell coherently, like a 16 hour mini series.

The series began with an interesting plot, the death of his best friend’s wife. It went down hill from there. I think Michael Douglas wrote it to showcase himself. After watching the third episode, I am done. The character of his best friend’s loser alcoholic doctor is mis cast and over acted. It is not a drama or comedy. There is no plot development, don’t bother to watch it.
