My take on the movie may be different than most. Unlike most reviewers I didn’t watch the series until right before the premiere of the movie. I had heard so many good things about the series over the years I decided to watch the previous 3 series in their entirety and then watch the movie. I was shocked that HBO just left the series hanging after seeing all 3 seasons. No wonder everyone was so upset. Seeing the movie right after watching the series was a wonderful, joyful experience. Yes, the characters were older, but also wiser. The flow was superb. Those fans who are not quite satisfied with the movie should rewatch the series and then watch the movie. It is most definitely a wonderful ending to one of the best HBO series ever done.....and I’ve watched them all. Thank you David Milch.
