Weathering With You was indeed a great film by Makoto Shinkai. The visuals were more pleasing to the eye than Your Name in my opinion. The OST, leave it Radwimps and they will never fail to deliver the best OST suited for a certain kind of scene. Story wise, I think it was not that well written compared to Makoto Shinkai's previous work. It was great but Your Name storyline was deeper and more interesting based on my perspective. The ending though was not iconic than I was expected it to be but the climax was so satisfying given that the OST was phenomenal (If you've watched it already then you might agree with me). Overall, it is a great contender for the best anime film of the year.
