If there was a 0 star rating, this would be it. They advertise this show as being the " BIGGEST PREMIERE DAY FOR A MAX ORIGINAL ANIMATED SERIES EVER" that is because it's the only animated series on HBO MAX that is premiering. The writing in this show is down right awful, the jokes are basically just about what other shows did followed by " oh Fred has a tiny wiener and is white so he is the killer". I feel bad for the " young lesbian teens" and "young Indian teens" that Mindy Kaling has associated the show with since I know that non of them are how Velma acts In Real Life. A hated, Sarcastic, politically, annoyingly, nerdy teen that wants people to like even though she has a comment for every thing someone says. The show basically roasts itself in a joke about how 420 is code for adults that still watch kids cartoons, I mean I'm pretty sure that this isn't for kids cause again sex/ Fred's wiener "JOKES" like every second. If any i don't know who this "SHOW" is even for? EP 3 & 4 is basically far worst then the first two EPS. The 4 Episode is pedo-filled/bait. All the teens on this show are 15 years old. And no i didn't watch this on HBO Max cause this show wasn't worth the $15.99 a month price tag. The Fact that this spits in the face of The Scooby Doo IP and its fans is awful. Charlie Grandy and Mindy Kaling deserved the bad ratings. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND NEVER WATCH. PERFECT EXAMPLE OF WHAT NOT TO DO WHEN CREATING A SHOW.

It was an amazing movie filled with action, character development, Easter Eggs, and memorable fatalities from the iconic game. People who say it's a let down has never played, enjoyed, and was /is a fan of Mortal Kombat. And with confirmation of sequels, I will 100% go to the theaters, enjoy my popcorn, and watch my childhood continue.
